Hi, I’m Susan Lee

Are you ready to go from striving to thriving? My goal is to help people manage the emotional heaviness that this life can bring and restore a person to a place of living a joy filled life.

I have been working as a Therapist for 25+ years. Seven years in the Santa Barbara School District as a Bilingual School Counselor and past 18+ years in my private practice located in Ventura, California. I work with individuals, couples, families, teens and adolescents. My scope of practice includes working with individuals who are facing anxiety, depression, grief/loss, overwhelming anger, conflictual relationships and parenting. I also have experience in faith based counseling with individuals that come from a Judeo, Catholic and/or a Christian background.

My approach to therapy is Cognitive Behavioral, Solution Focused, Attachment Therapy.

Credentials: School Counselor with Pupil Personnel Services, School and Career Counseling, Child Welfare and Attendance, and School Social Work. 

Education:  Undergraduate Degree from UCSB  and Graduate Degree from San Jose State in  Mental Health and School Social Work.
